Admissions
Carterknowle is an inclusive, welcoming school for children to transfer to after finishing KS1. Dedicated staff, in an historic building, make this a caring and nurturing environment for every child. We have high expectations and standards for both academic learning and behaviour and attitudes.
Most children progress from Holt House Infant School, a very short distance away, although we also welcome children from other schools. The two schools work closely together, to make sure that there is a smooth transition between them.
Visits
Prospective parents are warmly invited to visit school on our annual open day in October. Please email communications@carterknowle.
School Opening Hours
School starts at 9am with children able to arrive from 8.50am. School finishes at 3.30pm.
