Safeguarding
The Holt House and Carterknowle Schools Federation has a child centred and co-ordinated approach to safeguarding. Our policy and procedures, which are in line with statutory guidance from the Department for Education, are reviewed and approved by the governing body annually, apply to all staff, governors and volunteers working in the schools. Everyone who comes into contact with children has a role to play in safeguarding them. All staff consider, at all times, what is in the best interests of each and every child.
